Since it's creation in 2002, Leisureplay has built a solid reputation within the UK as one of the leading suppliers of digital jukeboxes, boxer machines and condom vending machines to the licensed trade.

Conveniently based in Coventry, West Midlands and within easy access to all the major motorway networks, we operate touch screen juke boxes, washroom vending machines and boxing machines on a national level. Sound Leisure Digital Jukeboxes
We are suppliers of a wide range of Sound Leisure audio and video digital juke boxes for pubs, bars and social clubs. The Sound Leisure jukeboxes available on a no rent, no hire, profit share revenue include StarBurst, SoundWave, The Jukebox, Pulse, Top of the Pops, RockBox, and VenueHub.

Kalkomat Boxer Machines
We rent and hire a wide range of high earning boxing machines manufactured by Kalkomat. Boxer machines we rent and hire to pubs and nightclubs include Boxer Win Cash, Boxer Spider, Boxer Cube and Boxer 3D. No rent, no contract, shared revenue deals available. We also have a range of kickers suitable for large sports bars, bowling alleys and student union bars.

Autonumis Condom Vending Machines
We hire and rent toilet vending machines to pubs, bars, hotels, leisure complexes and motorway service stations on a no rental cost, no hire contract, profit share revenue deal. We can supply you with the very latest washroom vending machines and high quality vending machine products including Durex condoms, Menhancer, Golden Root, Herbal Plus 46 and Via Herbal blue capsules and Play-rings.

Business Development Managers
With our vast experience and pro-active approach to develop solid relationships with our customers we maintain regular site visits to ensure the most profitable equipment is installed in your venue. Pre-installation, a site survey is carried out to discuss the type of equipment and machine positioning of your vending, jukebox or amusement equipment, enabling us to reach maximum cash box levels.

Service Engineers
Our team of highly qualified service engineers are available 365 days of the year. Our aim is to minimise any downtime on jukebox, vending and amusement equipment. On arrival, our experienced engineers will liaise with site and ensure your machines are fully functioning and earning without delay.

Collectors
Our collectors receive in-house training to ensure your money is managed correctly. Signed documentation and monies are left only on site with owners permission. High standards of customer care and good relationships between venue owners and collectors, help the overall operating of both our businesses run more smoothly and efficiently.

VenueHub exceeds cash box expectations at The Brown Lion, Birmingham.

Leisureplay are pleased to announce the recent jukebox installation of a Sound Leisure VenueHub at the Brown Lion pub in Birmingham has been a huge success. The new online digital jukebox has not only been well received by the customers but, critically, helped improve cash box levels.

The Sound Leisure VenueHub has an impressive online music library of over 7 Million downloadable tracks. Designed with the iPod generation in mind, the VenueHub also allows customers to log into their own personal music library via the Last.Fm application feature.

Landlord Andrew Dodwell said, “We are a very music oriented venue, with many customers appreciating a diverse range of music genres. Most jukeboxes couldn't cater for this type of demand, that is why it was essential we chose the right jukebox. Leisureplay have advised and they've got it right. Cash box levels have been excellent.”

Position: Jukebox Engineer

How did you get involved in the business?
I was working in the telecommunications industry as an electronic and computer engineer. Unfortunately I was getting no real satisfaction from it. I wanted a new challenge and a job that would be different everyday. In 1994 I started working for a local fruit machine company in Coventry. This experience helped towards gaining my position at Leisureplay.

How long have you worked for Leisureplay?
I started in June 2005. After a 2 week training course to get me up to speed with the latest digital jukebox equipment I was out on road with the installation team.

What is a typical day?
We are sent an email with a list of juke box installations and contact details at the beginning of the week. Usually, we (the installation team) meet at the unit, load up and head to site. A typical pub jukebox install can take most of the day which is sometimes due to the size of the job or the distance to site. We have been known to install a jukebox in a pub in Milton Keynes in the morning then travel to Stoke on Trent to install in the afternoon.

What excites you about the job?
I love going back to a site after a jukebox install to see how it’s taking off. Landlords are often surprised how much money they can take. It really is a great satisfaction to think you’ve made a difference to that persons business.

What are the frustrating elements?
Walking into a site and the bar staff have forgot to switch on the fruit machines, quiz machine, juke box or boxer machine. Switched off machines in pubs are not earning anyone any money!

What is your favourite feature on the digital jukebox?
It has to be the “search by date” feature. To think you can get any chart song since 1952 at the touch of a button is amazing. It takes me back to my heyday!
